Despite an absence of final vocals (cough!), we have 4 great new ones AND, for the first time in years, we have been working on a cover – Sandy Denny / Richard Thompson “Wish I Was A Fool For You / Shame of Doing Wrong“. So there should be more happening soon, as we re-inflate, re-constitute and re-vitalise. Really! All that? Oh, yes!

Quick! Tempus fugit, good people, ‘n all that. Next video pre-release will be a Christmasy take on our song ‘Replacement People‘. You’re asking why have they let go of the letter ‘C‘ in their great song book and charged off to ‘R‘ already rrrrr…! Our version of AI is called AI-minus 🙂 🙁 . Target release date: Friday 15th December 2023.

The songs will be available in master versions in 2024. We are both enjoying whetting your appetite and getting some mostly informal feedback on what we’re up to from the extended ‘Fædom Family‘ – yay!. That’s gonna be something.

We had great fun creating and mixing the video with a fantastic ballet performance. The song is about someone at a bar on the Thames towpath at Richmond, who quickly becomes infatuated with a graceful member of the catering staff. (understandable mistake, surely), while requesting a “Flaming Volcano” – as you do :).
Like many a disappointment, it’s all over in just over 4 minutes. I know… “Again, again, again..!!!“

Our plan is to put a new track out, every month or so, on YouTube to get some excitement up about the prospective album in 2024.
Really enjoying having a plan after incubating a bit too long. Although the rough mix outings worked well earlier this year.
Will there be singles? Will there be scones? We will test the water with the Youtube responses. Some marv videos in production.
The album will be on Bandcamp. Nothing there at the moment. You can still find our first album Litoralis here and there. Someone saw a single copy going for $28 in the States, with ‘rarity value’ highlighted. We could go straight to the top of the Rarity Value Charts, any time!!! Let’s try to think that one through.

“Difficult summer, boooyyy?” Some unforeseen problems. Keeping the thing rolling and getting back on the case. You, our trusted friends, know that we are not just late developers 🙂 🙁 but, you have to keep that long-term gaze (Help!). The video projects with the rough mixes worked well. We have pulled them off Youtube for the time being, as we got some great feedback from you.
Natural order for things blah blah… but we have enough detachment to start de-selection from our 26 song shortlist. There’s still a lockdown flavour… Are you still partly locked down? Try the old prune juice, is what they keep saying. Really! Can’t we have the new stuff?

we have had great fun trying out some of our prospective song releases with our ‘Pre-release rough mixes 2023’ video series. We have now pulled these. Your thoughtful feedback will help us compile our forthcoming album(s).
In the interim, we will be releasing brief selections from final mixes, although these will not be at ‘Mastering stage’. No, this isn’t fast food! Ambrosia of the gods, of course!
